the cookies are to-die for and the staff are incredibly kind. my coworker/friend told me about this place so myself and another friend made sure to hit it up while we were in tahlequah and we were not disappointed 🙂 the tiger cookie dough is so fun, and it is kinda like if play dough were a sweet treat. the prices are extremely reasonable, and they even have coffee! the coffee being as reasonable as all the baked goods made me extremely happy. they don’t even charge to add cold foam. this place is legit 🙂 can’t wait to go back!
Jun 14, 2026 · Google ReviewThe food here is always so good and greatly priced, however the last handful of times I’ve come through here there has been small hairs in the frosting. It’s usually been in the frosting on the donuts, but this time it was on a cookie. I haven’t been counting, but I would say it’s nearing six times now. It is very unfortunate and I hope they can fix this issue because their food is good!
Aug 12, 2026 · Google ReviewThis bakery has the BEST cream horns in the world!!! The filling is like a light wedding cake icing. And the entire cream horn is fresh and flaky. They melt in your mouth!! They also have the best 4 O’clock cookies and fudge fancies I’ve ever tasted!! ❣️
May 20, 2025 · Google ReviewMorgan's Bakery should be declared a local landmark. They are known for their tiger and iced cookies. Many people love these almost-sugar-kind-of-shortbread cookies and there are those of us that do not. Because the price per cookie is steep, my suggestion is to taste one before buying multiples. Morgan's cakes are good. Most people like their donuts and breakfast treats. My absolute favorite item at Morgan's is their cream horns. Perfection! I make trips to town (I'm 20-25 minutes rural) for cream horns and add other errands to ease my guilt. The cream horns are so flaky, it's near impossible to eat one and not wear a bit of it --- and worth every napkin to dust off. I think their eclairs are also delicious but very rich -- my second favorite item. I love to serve both cream horns and eclairs for small group meetings and dinner parties of 6-8 guests. I often halve the cream horns and eclairs so my guests can choose both -- and most do. Both the cream horns and eclairs are $3-4 each. Through the 40 years I've lived in the Tahlequah area, I've had very good counter service and most usually from the younger staff. Depending on where you are in line (yes, there is occasionally a line of 2-3 people), you might have a wait of ten minutes because it's not easy to make choices if you are a newbie. The staff is patient and I've never felt rushed. I hope you stop at Morgan's and find something that makes you want to go back again. It is certainly worth the visit.
