Jessie BarnardAs a longtime volunteer for TMSA, the heart they have for the community, merchants and downtown show in all they do. As a nonprofit whose mission is strengthening, preserving and restoring the core of Tahlequah, it's downtown, they do that through various means. If you're looking for information on downtown or it's merchants, would like to help our downtown be the best it can be by opening a business, supporting TMSA's mission or volunteering on a committee or the board, I encourage you to give them a call. In addition to many favorites, TMSA and it's volunteers, host the beloved Red Fern Festival as well!

Elizabeth RobinsonI love that the Main Street association works so hard to assure that events in our small town are not only put on but run smoothly. Movies in the Park is a blast, especially for the kiddos on summer break! Red Fern and Big Jims Rally are not only fun things to do but also bring people from out of town in, which in turn helps our economy. Great job guys! Keep up the good work!

It is attracting residents to downtownTahlequah -bringing crowds and more business through new initiatives like Red Fern Festival, farmers market, concerts and movies. Very proud to be from this great this place. And hope this continues to grow as it build's a much better community for everyone.

Cody GladGood times great newbies who love to keep it fresh and fly. They seek the prosperity of Tahlequah's downtown, as I do and wish more residents of Tahlequah did too. It may not seem to make sense to you if you want it to stay the same. The problem that exists in that is, Tahlequah is in a competition for residents. Residents are tax payers and would go down to spend money if it supports the community. The problem is the lack of public use anything that would entice residents to go downtown, other than just to spend money. Why would someone go through the trouble of going down there just to spend money, when they could sit at home and buy goods off the Internet. What this will cause is the businesses to go out of business and downtown will be a ghost town. So downtown and Tahlequah will not stay the same it will go downhill, it will not retain new residents nor will it attract them. The Tahlequah Main Street Association TMSA is working hard to keep Tahlequah alive and not allow it to be a dying community.
