The Taj MaLodge is a Unique property! It was built from two containers as a secure preper’s cabin! The 2 acre property is self sustaining. There is a beautiful stocked pond ready to be fished, a covered storage area for boat parking, a covered patio and grill, a storm shelter, and a huge greenhouse on the property.

Taj MaLodge is located on 2 beautiful acres in Cookson, OK just 1.3 miles from Carlisle Cove Public access area and 1.9 miles from Standing Rock Landing public access on Lake Tenkiller. Cookson Bend Resort & Marina is 9 min away (4.4 miles) or Sixshooter Resort & Marina just 12 min. (6.9 miles).
If you don’t feel like grilling out, or sitting around the fire by the pond, you can get a bite to eat at The Princess Restaurant just 5 min away (2.6 miles) it has wonderful food and nice cold ice cream for those hot summer days. Cookson Marina Restaurant is 9 min away (4.4 miles) where you can sit on the deck and enjoy the lake activities, great food & cold drinks!

While at Taj MaLodge please spend a little time and explore the property and fish in the pond, or just relax under the covered patio and enjoy the lights and the night air.

Other things to note
The kitchen has an antique stove, it is not used. We have a microwave, oven roaster, electric double burner, and a nice LARGE toaster oven. It works just like a conventional oven and has a rack so (2) items that can be baked at the same time. Then outside you will find a great Blackstone grill/griddle, perfect for cooking out!
