Guided Birding Hike - Whispering Pines to Dead End Water View (~2.34 miles)
Meet at the Park Front Office. We will hike down a portion of Whispering Pines to the scenic Dead End Water View, approximately 2.34 miles round trip.

Join us for a guided birding hike as we explore the diverse habitats of Sequoyah State Park and discover the many bird species that call the park home. Whether you're an experienced birder or just beginning your birding journey, these hikes offer a wonderful opportunity to observe birds in their natural environment while enjoying a peaceful morning outdoors.
As we travel through a variety of habitats, participants may spot waterfowl, raptors, songbirds, woodpeckers, and other species. Each hike provides a unique experience, as bird activity changes throughout the month and varies by habitat and season.
Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, wear comfortable walking shoes, and carry water for hydration. All ages and experience levels are welcome.
