Guided Birding Hike - Sequoyah Paved (~3.4 miles total)
Meet at the Three Forks Nature Center. Sequoyah Paved is our longest paved trail, 1.7 miles one-way, hike will be approximately 3.4 miles total.
Come enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while sharpening your bird identification skills alongside fellow nature enthusiasts!
Join us for a guided birding hike as we explore the diverse habitats of Sequoyah State Park and discover the many bird species that call the park home. Whether you're an experienced birder or just beginning your birding journey, these hikes offer a wonderful opportunity to observe birds in their natural environment while enjoying a peaceful morning outdoors.
As we travel through a variety of habitats, participants may spot waterfowl, raptors, songbirds, woodpeckers, and other species. Each hike provides a unique experience, as bird activity changes throughout the month and varies by habitat and season.
Participants are encouraged to bring binoculars, wear comfortable walking shoes, and carry water for hydration. All ages and experience levels are welcome.
