Beaver Moon Hike
Bring a flashlight! Starting at the Three Forks Nature Center, this hike will take guests along the Fitness Trail and to Inspiration Point to view the Beaver Moon. This hike allows participants to learn about the history and significance of the Beaver Moon, as well as the nocturnal wildlife.
Night hikes offer a unique perspective on the natural world, allowing visitors to experience the sights and sounds of the park in a way that few get to enjoy. Along the way, we will discuss the seasonal changes, animal adaptions, and wildlife adaptions to nightlife in our ecosystems.
This will be approximately a 1.4 miles long and on a paved trail.
