Great place to walk around and even better when they have vendors set up during different town celebrations. It can get crowded if there's a special even going on but other wise it doesn't get crowded. Its mostly college students around thatbarea bc its so close to the college but we've never had any issues there. Parking is reasonably close by and convenient.
Jul 16, 2026 · Google ReviewClean and dog friendly small park. Dispite some reviews I have not seen any homless nor any trash. There is a pavilion/stage, batroom, benches, and a playground.
May 29, 2024 · Google ReviewI came from out of state because I am a lifelong fan of the book Where the Red Fern Grows, and Tahlequah figures prominently in the story. Seeing this statue of the main characters, Billy and Old Dan and Little Ann, was so poignant to me. It’s a fantastic statue which brings to life when Billy acquired his puppies from the Tahlequah train station, put them in a sack and walked back barefoot many miles to his home in the Ozarks. So wonderful.
