Festival highlights

The Red Fern Festival is a two‑day, family‑friendly event in historic downtown Tahlequah that celebrates the novel Where the Red Fern Grows and Tahlequah’s charm. It fills several downtown blocks with arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, live music, kids’ activities, and themed contests inspired by the book and the Ozark foothills setting.
